Fire Detection and Protection System (FDPS)

Thermo System undertakes complete Design, Engineering, Supply, Fabrication, Installation, Erection,Testing & Commissioning of different types of Fire Fighting system as per TAC & LPA rules.

Hydrant system

  • Hydrant system is the backbone of fire fighting systems
  • It is provided throughout the entire plant area including the upper floors of multistory buildings
  • It helps extinguish fires of serious proportions and continues to be in service even after collapse of buildings/structures
  • It is a manually operated system
A typical Hydrant System consists of

Water Spary Systems

HVW / MVW Spray system
  • HVW spray system is provided for extinguishing fires involving liquids having flash point 65ºC or above and are not miscible with water.

  • MVW Spray system is provided for controlling or extinguishing the fires involving liquids, solids and semi-solids with flash point between
    65ºC and 32ºC.

  •
    Sprinkler System
A fire sprinkler system is an active fire protection measure, consisting of a water supply, providing adequate pressure and flow rate to a water distribution piping system, onto which fire sprinklers are connected.

    Fixed Foam System

    • Foam System is used for

A typical Foam System consists of
    Gas Based Fire Extinguishing System
    • C02 based flooding System

A Carbon Dioxide Fire Suppression system consists of one or more bank of cylinder storage containers to supply the CO2 extinguishing agent. Flexible discharge bends, or hoses, connects the cylinders into a piping manifold. The manifold in turn distributes the agent into the piping network. Nozzles regulate the flow of CO2 into the protected area.

Inert Gas based total flooding System

Inergen gas is a mix of Nitrogen (52%), Argon (40%) and Carbon Dioxide (8%). Inergen is an effective and a clean fire extinguishing gas, which is safe for humans and equipments in the protected area.
The system consists of cylinders, nozzles, valves and intelligent/conventional detectors and panel. The detectors/sensors detect either the smoke / heat and sends signal to the fire alarm cum extinguisher panel

    Portable Fire Extinguishers

The quick and efficient flame knockdown property of CO2 gas makes it ideal for tackling fire involving flammable liquid for instance oil, paints, varnish, solvents and even industrial gases. Inert CO2 gas rapidly starves the fire of oxygen, extinguishing it within second by squeezing the lever. Since it leaves no residue after use, it is ideal for fire involving sensitive electrical equipment.
